Our Event Director
Davide Weaver
Davide Weaver has been a transformative force in St. Louis’ art and event scene since 2000. He co-founded ArtDimensions, a non-profit that revitalized the city’s art community over 15 years by organizing artists, hosting regular art openings, and creating innovative programs. This initiative drew thousands to events, featuring local artists, performers, and chefs, and garnered significant media attention and city recognition.
Building on this success, Weaver secured the rights to the Taste of St. Louis in 2003, revolutionizing the festival format by eliminating ticket booths and showcasing a blend of art, food, music, and culture. The event grew rapidly, peaking at nearly 300,000 attendees and earning Davide a Special Merit Award. In 2008, he co-founded the 2720 Cherokee Performing Arts Center, further developing the Cherokee Arts district and pioneering the integration of live art with music performances.
From 2014 to 2022, Weaver launched the St. Louis World’s Fare Festival, celebrating the city’s cultural heritage while supporting local artists and businesses. Fast forward to 2024, Davide Weaver has started a new project with Abstrakt Marketing in Downtown St. Louis that is an evolution of all of his projects wrapped into one large event that will be important to Artists around the region in 6 different genres of art titled “ArtFusion”. Set to debut in October 2025, this event will feature the Art Olympics that will have competitions in 6 different genres of art helping to create annual support to artists and to create tourism in the city of St. Louis.
Davide has been instrumental in shaping the event scene in St. Louis since 2000. His passion for the arts and community engagement has led to numerous transformative initiatives.

With years of experience driving growth as the Chief Marketing Officer at Abstrakt Marketing Group, she combines innovative strategy with a passion for meaningful engagement. Melanie’s commitment to nurturing talent and building strong partnerships is complemented by her role as a board member of the Laclede’s Landing Neighborhood Association, further highlighting her influence in shaping vibrant, community-focused projects. Her expertise and dedication make her a pivotal force in amplifying ArtFusion’s mission to celebrate and support the arts.

Scott Scully is a visionary entrepreneur and dedicated supporter of the arts, with extensive experience in business leadership and community engagement. He has an extensive history of supporting local artists and fostering creative growth in the community.
